अजयमेरु उर्फ ​​अजमेरl Ajaymeru alias Ajmer

उपलब्ध दस्तावेजों के अनुसार, चौहान वंश के एक राजा अजयराज चौहान ने इस शहर की स्थापना की और इसे एक शानदार शहर बनाया। बाद में, चौहान वंश के राजाओने इस शहर को झीलों और बगीचों से सजाया। इस शहर की स्थापना 27 मार्च, 1112 को अजयराज चौहान ने की थी। उनके नाम पर इस शहर का नाम अजयमेरु रखा गया। अजय राजा का नाम है और मेरु का अर्थ शिखर है। इस शहर की सुंदरता के बारे में लिखते हुए, पृथ्वीराज चौहान के दरबार के कवि जयानक कश्मीरी ने इंद्र कि अलंकापुरी, श्रीकृष्ण कि द्वारका और रावण की लंका के रूप से अधिक सुंदर शहर बताया है।

इस शहर की स्थापना के बाद, अजयराज चौहान ने इस शहर को अपने साम्राज्य की राजधानी बनाया। इस चौहान वंश ने लगभग आठ सौ से एक हजार वर्षों तक शासन किया। अजयराज चौहान इस राजवंश के 23 वें राजा थे। इस राजवंश के अंतिम राजा पृथ्वीराज चौहान थे, जिन्हें मोहम्मद गोरी यानी गजनी के मोहम्मद ने हराया था और चौहान वंश के हजार साल के शासन का अंत हुआ था। इसी पृथ्वीराज चौहान को, छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज के राजा बनने तकका,  अंतिम हिंदू सम्राट कहा जाता था।

पृथ्वीराज चौहान के बाद, ये  शहर घोरी के नियंत्रण में आ गया। इस मामले का नाम पहले अजयमर और अजमेर होत गया l  घोरी शहर के बाद अकबर और उसके बाद अन्य मुगल सम्राटो ने इस शहरपर राज किय। हमारे अपने राजाओं की अनिच्छा के कारण इस तरह के खूबसूरत शहर का नाम हमेशा के लिए बदल दिया गया। ऐसे कई शहर हैं जिनका नाम बदलकर तात्कालीन शासकों ने अपनी मर्जी से रखा।

Ajaymeru alias Ajmer

According to the available documents, Ajayraj Chauhan, the king of the Chauhan dynasty, established this city and made it a glorious city. Later, the city of capital of the Chauhan dynasty was decorated with lakes and gardens. This city was founded on March 27, 1112 by Ajayraj Chauhan. The town was named as Ajaymeru after his name. Ajay is the name of the king and Meru is the peak. Writing about the beauty of this city, poet Jayanak Kashmiri of Prithviraj Chauhan's court has described this as a more beautiful city than Indra’s Alankapuri, Shrikrishna’s Dwarka and Ravana’s Lanka.

After the establishment of this city, King Chauhan made this city the capital of his empire. This Chauhan dynasty ruled for about eight hundred to one thousand years. Ajayraj Chauhan was the 23rd king of this dynasty. The last king of this dynasty was Prithviraj Chauhan, who was defeated by Mohammad Ghori i.e. Mohammad of Ghazni and the thousand year rule of Chauhan dynasty came to an end. Prithviraj Chauhan was called the last Hindu emperor till Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj became the king and conquered  Maharashtra and South India  AND Peshwas who conquered Delhi as Hindu Kings after Prithviraj Chouhan.  

After Prithviraj Chauhan, the city came under the control of Ghori. Eventually, the city was renamed Ajaymer and later Ajmer. After Ghori, this city was ruled by Akbar and later by the other Mughal Emperors. The name of the city with such a beautiful name as AJAYMERU was changed forever due to the reluctance of our own kings. There are many cities which were renamed by Conquerors at their own will.
